Acid Work in Motion: Why Integration Matters
Across the Western Canadian oilfield, acid work is on the rise — from scale removals and well stimulations to injection well cleanups. It’s the kind of work that’s unforgiving to downtime, coordination errors, or missing equipment. Every valve, line, and hose needs to perform. Every crew needs to be aligned. And every minute lost on site translates directly into deferred production.
That’s where integration makes all the difference.
At Solution Services, we don’t just show up with trucks — we show up with an entire system built to deliver acid hauling, pumping, and stimulation safely, efficiently, and without compromise. The goal is simple: fewer moving parts, fewer third-party delays, and total operational control from start to finish.
The Challenge: Coordination in Complex Acid Jobs
Ask any production or completions superintendent — acid work isn’t complex because of the chemistry; it’s complex because of the coordination.
Different vendors. Different dispatches. Different safety standards. It’s not uncommon to have separate companies for hauling, pumping, iron, and shower units — all waiting on each other to move. That fragmentation drives up cost, extends downtime, and increases exposure on high-pressure, high-temperature scopes.
Field teams have been asking for one thing: a single, integrated provider who can handle it all.

The Solution: One Call. One Crew. One System.
Our acid operations were designed around that exact problem. Today, Solution Services runs a comprehensive fleet built to keep everything under one roof:
- 12 Hot Oilers / Pressure Trucks — precision-controlled units for heating, circulation, and high-pressure pumping
- 3 Fibreglass (TC-412) Acid Trailers — 30 m³ capacity each, fully acid-rated and compliant
- 4 Safety Shower Units — mobile, self-contained support for field safety and confined-space work
- 2 Iron Trailers — equipped with 200’ of 2” 1502 line pipe for larger, high-pressure jobs
Each unit is pintle-hitched for direct towing, allowing our Hot Oilers to pull the acid trailers on site. That small design choice translates to a smaller site footprint, fewer trucks, less manpower, and faster setup times.
This isn’t about convenience — it’s about efficiency, safety, and control.
Performance Where It Counts
Whether you’re executing a high-rate acid job or a low-volume squeeze, our systems are built for range and reliability:
- Pump rates up to 1 m³/min
- Low-rate squeezes down to 25 LPM
- Operating pressures from 5,000 to 15,000 PSI
- Each unit equipped with 5,000 PSI, 1” × 130’ acid-compatible hose
- Supplemental iron and equipment available for extended scopes
The result: fewer variables, faster cycle times, and full accountability from dispatch to demobilization.

Real-Time Data, Real Accountability
Every Solution Services pumping unit is equipped with real-time data recording technology — a capability few others in the industry offer.
Each job generates second-by-second operational data, pressure graphs, and flow metrics, all logged and available to the client immediately upon completion. From injectivity tests to high-rate stimulations, clients receive full digital job reports (including CSV exports and graphical summaries) that capture exactly what happened in the field — with no guesswork or handwritten notes.
This data transparency not only validates performance but also strengthens client QA/QC documentation and compliance reporting. It’s proof of execution — in real numbers, not just words
Why Clients Choose Solution Services
Our partners — from producers to midstream operators — don’t just choose us because of our gear. They choose us because of our process.
We’ve built our reputation on execution without excuses. When a site calls, we bring the full package: the right equipment, the right personnel, the right plan, all data captured and available immediately to you upon job completion. No subcontractors. No waiting on rentals. No finger-pointing when schedules tighten.
It’s a system designed to work the way clients actually operate — fast, lean, and safety-first.

The Bigger Picture: Efficiency as a Safety Metric
In acid operations, efficiency and safety go hand in hand. The fewer crews and interfaces on site, the lower the risk of communication errors and equipment mismatches. Our integrated system minimizes those variables and adds data-backed transparency on top of it.
Because in today’s completions environment, clients don’t just want the job done — they want proof it was done right.

Article FAQ
Solution Services provides complete acid hauling, pumping, and stimulation support for a range of operations — including scale removal, wellbore cleanup, and injection-well acidizing. Our fully integrated fleet of Hot Oilers, fibreglass TC-412 acid trailers, safety shower units, and 15K iron allows us to mobilize quickly and execute safely without relying on third-party vendors.
Our system is fully self-contained and data-driven. Every job uses in-house equipment, minimizing coordination delays, and every pumping unit includes real-time data recording for flow, pressure, and rate. Upon completion, clients receive digital reports and CSV data validating job performance — an industry-leading level of transparency and accountability.
Our equipment is engineered for a wide performance range:
Pump rates: up to 1 m³/min
Low-rate squeezes: as low as 25 LPM
Operating pressures: 5,000–15,000 PSI
Each unit also includes 130 ft of 1-inch acid-compatible hose rated for 5,000 PSI, with additional 2-inch 1502 iron available for large-volume or extended scopes.
Yes. Each deployment includes mobile safety shower units, secondary containment systems, and crews trained to industry-leading safety standards. Our integrated approach reduces the number of contractors on site — meaning fewer interfaces, clearer communication, and lower risk.
We support projects across Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, with offices in Fort Saskatchewan and Grande Prairie. Our logistics network allows for rapid dispatch anywhere in Western Canada, ensuring clients have a single-call solution for acid hauling, stimulation, and completion support.
